At ALHussan National School – Rakah, International Program, our Grade 12 students explored the text “Overcoming Impostor Syndrome” through an interactive “Advice Clinic” activity.
Students stepped into the role of therapists, analyzing realistic cases of impostor syndrome, challenging negative thought patterns with textual evidence, and suggesting practical strategies. Through role-play, they conducted clinic consultations, using evidence and ideas from the text to support their advice.
By connecting the text to real-life contexts, the activity transformed reading into critical thinking, communication, and meaningful real-life application.
