Al Hussan National School- International Program - Al Rakkah. In this hands-on lesson, students were fully engaged as they became young scientists exploring why water is called the “molecule of life”.
Through simple but powerful experiments, they explored water’s amazing properties—polarity, cohesion, adhesion, and heat capacity.
They then explained their observations, connecting each property to real biological processes such as water transport in plants, nutrient dissolving, insect movement on water, and Earth’s temperature regulation.
Finally, students could elaborate on how these unique properties make water essential for sustaining all forms of life.
