During the Week of Chemistry at Alhussan International Track on October 28, 2024, Grade 12

 students engaged in hands-on experiments to deepen their understanding of key chemical concepts. They explored oxidation and reduction through the reaction of zinc metal with copper (II) sulfate. In another experiment, students demonstrated electroplating by setting up a circuit with a metal object in copper sulfate solution. Finally, they constructed a simple galvanic cell using zinc and copper electrodes, showcasing the conversion of chemical energy into electrical energy. The week was a success, providing valuable practical experience and sparking interest in the applications of chemistry in everyday life.
