A Model English Lesson Through Guided Discovery

Grade 7 students at Al-Hussan National Schools – Al-Rakah – International Program joined a superhero rescue mission in “The Power Thief,”

 Using a guided discovery approach, students investigated a secret diary, identified language patterns, and discussed evidence to discover the rules for using gerunds. Carefully sequenced questions encouraged them to explain their reasoning and apply their discoveries. Collaborative tasks, digital challenges, creative story writing, peer feedback, and an exit ticket made learning engaging and reflective.
