Honor Roll Cambridge
Community
Each semester students of Al Hussan schools system are awarded with the honor roll according to their highest achievements Principals
of the previous term as well as good behavior. Forum
Principals of several schools were invited to the Cambridge Community Principals Forum Al Khobar on Sunday 1st of
November 2015 at Orbit International School Al Khobar.
During this meeting they were provided with an excellent opportunity to find out more about the latest developments
from Cambridge and the comprehensive support resources available to schools in Saudi Arabia. This session included local
insight into changes with teacher licensing and school evaluation that will affect many Cambridge schools in Saudi Arabia.
In addition, Dr. Paul Beedle, Head of Professional Development Qualifications based in Cambridge delivered a session on how
Cambridge can help schools embed continuous professional development within their culture. The session concluded with
lunch and networking.
Company Visit - Seven Days
The Seven Days company had visited the Boys Section of Orbit International School. They played many games with
students. Interacted with them, the students enjoyed the meeting thoroughly. It was a good break from their academics.
Family Day (KG1)
Family Day is an activity organized for
KG-1 students. Children dress up as family
members; like daddy, mommy and baby.
Family Day introduces the concept of a
family to the children of tender age. They
also bake cupcakes that day and so the
concept of sharing and caring for family and
friends was introduced as well.
