Curriculum & Programs of Study - National Schools

At AlHussan National Schools, we offer two primary educational tracks: the National
Track and the International Track.
The National Track is aligned with the requirements of the Saudi Ministry of Education
while providing students with a strong foundation in English, mathematics, science, and
21st-century skills.
The International Track (Grades KG–12) follows the AlHussan International Curriculum,
which combines the American Common Core Standards with the Ministry of Education
curriculum.
From the early years through high school, students are equipped with the knowledge,
skills, and readiness needed to pursue higher education opportunities both nationally and
internationally.

Kindergarten & Primary

Students follow the Saudi Ministry of Education curriculum in core subjects. In addition,
AlHussan adopts enrichment curricula covering English Language Arts, Science,
Mathematics, Information & Communication Technology (ICT), and Wellbeing. This helps
students build a strong academic foundation while developing the essential skills needed
for lifelong learning.

Middle School

In middle school, students continue studying the Ministry-mandated subjects, ensuring
that they meet all national academic requirements. These core subjects are
complemented by AlHussan’s enhanced programs in English Language Arts, which focus
on developing strong reading, writing, and communication skills, as well as fostering
analytical and critical thinking. Additionally, the curriculum emphasizes student
wellbeing, providing guidance, support, and opportunities for social and emotional growth.

High School

In high school, students study the Ministry’s subjects supported by AlHussan’s
enhancement program in English language arts, while also receiving additional
preparation in key academic areas. To support university readiness, students may join
preparatory courses for national and international standardized exams, including:

Qiyas Test: (GAT :General Aptitude Test) and (SAAT : Saudi Achievement Admission
Test)
Other university entrance assessments like IELTS and STEP
Graduates of the National Schools, including those in the International Track, consistently
achieve strong results and gain admission to universities in Saudi Arabia and abroad.
