attendance, and
overall readiness for
the next level.
Promotion, Probation & Retention
Promotion Students are promoted when they demonstrate satisfactory
Academic progress in core subjects, maintain acceptable attendance,
Probation and show readiness to succeed at the next grade level.
Retention Students with failing grades or a low GPA may be placed
on academic probation for a defined period .
An individualized support plan is developed in
collaboration with teachers, coordinators, and parents to
help the student improve.
Progress is monitored regularly. Students who meet
targets are removed from probation; those who do not may
continue under closer supervision.
Retention is considered only after significant intervention and
in consultation with parents. The school will review all
available data—including grades, standardized assessments,
and student wellbeing—before making a decision. Retention
is recommended only if it is clearly in the best educational
interest of the student. The final decision rests with the school
administration.
